Our adorable baby daughter was born after six years of waiting. We had no idea she would be so beautiful, so sweet-smelling, or so needy.
To say we were not prepared to be parents is a huge understatement. We had no idea! Where were the experts when we needed them? Dr. Spoke’s book was the answer du jour, but there were times I wondered if he’d even been near a real live baby. (Yes, he had!)
